The Newton Juneteenth Celebration, returns to the Hyde Community Center on Saturday, June 15th, 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. This Celebration marks the national holiday commemorating the emancipation of enslaved Americans and invites all residents and visitors to come together to honor and celebrate African-American heritage and culture through food, music, dance, and story-telling. This event will also support local Black-owned businesses and showcase the variety of ways our community promotes equity and inclusion for residents and students of color from diverse backgrounds.
